Halfway There; Unbeaten Streak Over The Lustrian Dragons had a fairly successful half after a shakey start and some lost players to start the season. The Dragons tied a league record, going on an 8-game winning streak that was halted in a 1-1 draw with the Kizlev team, Eximius Comitatus . They remained unbeaten for 11 matches until their most recent game against Pretty Butterflies, the only team having a consistantly better season than the Dragons so far.
But if the team is doing well, you wouldn't know it by the coach's demeanor. Coach Sslariss can often be seen berating and threatening the players after each game for not playing physical enough.  Goh'Zir'ah, in particular, is in the doghouse. With 11 games played, the team's most physically impressive player has only 2 casualties. Allo , with 9 matches, and Quince, with 7 matches, have yet to do anything for the team, aside from line up at the front of the field to get mashed at kick off.
The team said they would play a more smash-mouth game in the 2nd quarter but that certainly didn't happen, scoring half as many casulaties as the first quarter. An angry coach doesn't seem to be helping, perhaps something else needs to be done. |
