Sad Finish
After a pretty amazing season for an Ogre Squad, our last game of the season was a pretty big let down. I would rather have had a lackluster start and a stronger finish any day, but these things are often out of our hands.

See you all next Chaos Cup for another solid Ogre'ing. It's been real fun! :)

Kudos to Ross
I want to take a moment to thank Ross for not jumping across the table and stuffing the dice up my ass. Here's the scene:

Ross is up 2-0, my turn 4, second half. We roll a riot, gain a turn and for the first time in the game, I am able to pick up the ball. a turn later I score with a pretty cool Snotling chuck.

I score a second touchdown on my last turn of the game. Ross had taken the kick-off with a War Dancer and curled up in the corner of his half, wisely disengaging while ensuring his win at the same time.

He changed his position on his turn seven, leaving me a pretty hopeless 2 GFI, 2 die blitz on the W.D. with an Ogre (without block). I make the GFI'S and Pow the prancing queen into next week (K.O.'ed), ball bounces favorably despite the grid-like defense he has arranged. Now to get the ball and score....

My only option is a Snotling toss. Bonehead, two GFI's, and a no strong arm toss roll later, Snipp Grottlesnot is airborne and manages to somehow flail his carcass into landing next to the ball in no tackle zones, once again avoiding Ross's near prefect set-up. After a pick up and one more GFI, Snipp scores the tie up T.D. leaving Ross with One turn and a pretty disappointing tie.

(1/6 + 1/6 + 11/36 + 1/4{ - this is the block and the 2 favorable bounce spaces out of eight which would have resulted in one or more tackle zones} + 1/6 + 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/3 {toss and landing} + 1/3 + 1/6 {pick up and GFI}.

Oh yeah, didn't use a re roll... Snipp went on to receive the MVP for the match which earned him an Agility up.

All in all, a really fun game, I think Ross learned a lot about diving tackle and how to win against Ogre's. I dread our next game.

Post Dorf Reflections
No one died and I accidently won.

I will no doubt be struck by lightning later this evening.

Pre Dorf Predictions
I am posting this about an hour and a half before my game with Keith and I would like to make a few predictions.

- Keith's Dorf's will kill three of my players, One of which will be an Ogre.
- The score will be 2-1 or 3-2 Keith
- I will inflict no casualties through blocks

and finally,

- We will roll two get the ref results, which will result in playing against the death Roller the entire match.

Now, if any of this goes better than predicted I'll be able to say, " Well, at least I managed to...."
