Nobles Embarressed Two Games in a Row
The High Guard Nobles have definitely stumbled the last few games after coming out of the gate strong. Tying the Berserkers 2-2, the Nobles lost their Assistant Captain, Leaf Eriqssen to the afterlife. Demoralized, the team suffered its worse loss in franchise history to Ms. Consin's Dodgers.

"We were terrible out there," said Raz Keenserf. "Absolutely wretched, I wish that we could have put together a better effort out there, it's embarrassing to see that kind of effort from a team like ours."

The Nobles will have to employ two Journey Men for their next game. And there is some doubts in the locker as to if this team will play many more games this season...

Nobles to Compete for the Dungeon Bowl
The deliberation is over, and the High Guard Nobles will compete next season for the Dungeon Bowl Championship. The High Elves were thinking of hanging up the boots and spandex after shamefully losing their opening round tilt. But after a long end of season team meeting, the team decided to make another go of it. The sponsors are behind this team and feel confident that this announcement will put the Nobles in instant contention for the coveted title.

Nobles End Season with the Early Exit
In a shocking display, the Nobles of High Guard have been ousted from the playoff picture in their first game.

Both Kallion and Wolf Blitzer were taken out mere seconds into the match, and superstar catcher Leaf Eriqssen soon followed.

"We beat the Devas only a week ago 4-2," said team Captain Raz Keenserf. "We were expecting to hopefully get further than the first round. But give the Devas credit, they played a hellova match..."

The Nobles had their 14 game unbeaten streak snapped with the loss. Sponsors of the Nobles franchise are unable to commit that the team will be back to compete for next season's championship.

The Nobles should be proud, as this was their first season back in action in almost 10 years and finished the regular season in second place. If they are back again for next season, the teams of the MHBBL should be frightened!

Nobles Find Themselves in 2nd Place
With the rookie High Elves from the fare city of High Guard undefeated in their last 8 games, Head Coach Lord Samich looks to their next contest as the toughest this season.

"We're taking on a very capable Dwarf team in the Bolgrath Berserkers. I mean, they were the Blood Bowl Champions last season," told the coach after a team practice. "We're hoping this game will be a nice measuring stick as to how we will fair in the Mythril Spike Playoffs in a few weeks," he added.

It should be an entertaining game of raw strength and toughness vs speed and agility!

C²F³ Down Nobles in 4-0 Bloodbath
The Nobles of Highguard were brought down a peg or two as the C²F³ Brigade defeated the High Elves 4-0. Injuries to Kallion and Leaf were suffered but they are rumored to be back for next game. Unfortunately passer, Bo Passmore was killed in action.

Head coach Lord Samich could not be reached for comment. The next time the Nobles are in action are vs The Middenheim Marauders. Let's hope they can get back to their winning ways.

Nobels Ground Sky Kings, 4-1
The Nobels of High Guard have been on a tear recently. Winning their last game 2-1 vs the Nugle team, GutRot, even though team Captain Kallion the Stallion was out with injury. Kallion was feeling much better today though and decided to join the squad to face their cross-town rivals, the Sky Kings.

"We were happy to see Kallion back," said head coach Lord Samich. "We had hired another player to play for him in case he was still feeling the effects from the injury, but Wölf Blitzer will be a pleasant addition anyhow," he added.

The real story of the game was Leaf Eriqssen of the Nobels. The young Elf from High Guard has had a humble season thus far with a mere two TD's in 5 games. This afternoon was different for the catcher, as he proved to his coaching staff, fellow players and fans alike that he is capable of being a Star in this league. Eriqssen scored two TD's and added a completion leading to a 4-1 romp of the Kings. Another notable was Nomber Niin, a Line Elf with two TD's himself.

No harm done though as both teams kept it a fast paced, low injury affair. The Nobels are looking forward to their next match at The C²F³ Brigade tomorrow night... that is unless the squad finds another appointment before then!
